西方醫學科學理論（及其累積的知識與技術），跟西方醫療系統（包括醫生及醫院管理系統）其實是兩回事。不過通常在談論中西醫的時候都會混淆在一起講，這樣無助釐清雙方的論述。
如果是講科學的部分，西醫應該是超然客觀的，因為那正是科學的本質。西醫應該是不斷修改自身理論及技術，完全不怕放棄過去的教條，因為那也正是科學的本質。

每個去投票的人都有他自己的理由，不管是為了理想，為了未來，為了錢財，為了經濟，為了支持所愛，為了反對所恨。
但是，實際上你的一票有什麼屁用呢？統計上來說，個人的一票是完全不會造成任何影響的，即使兩邊結果出來票數相等也是一樣：因為投票跟唱票計算程序的問題，總是有少些誤差，你這一票絕對是在誤差之內！
就算你呼朋引伴買通鄰居一起去投你所愛，也是一樣。就跟你花一萬塊買樂透一樣，沒影響就是沒影響。
對於這種論調，總會有人反駁道：「如果每個人都像你這樣想，就沒人投票了（會輸了）！」重點是，絕對不會每個人都這樣想。絕對。不會。再怎麼冷漠的民主社會，一定還是會有足夠狂熱／有責任心的人去投票。這跟你跳樓一定往下掉是一樣的道理，是宇宙鐵則。
那投票的意義是什麼？讓自己為社會國家盡一份應盡的義務與責任？
你當然可以這樣想，不過請先讓我去廁所吐一下。
選舉這種東西，結果完完全全是由大數法則來決定的，就好像兩隻大怪獸在比大條。而一個小民去投票的意義是什麼？其實最終目的，最深層的心理，也不過是讓自己心裡知道：當結果出來時，自己是屬於哪隻怪獸？
最終，還是投給自己爽。除此無他。

我的回覆越寫越多，就乾脆多開一篇文章。
要先多謝您花那麼多時間留那麼長的言。（這不是嘲諷，是真的多謝。）
如果您請仔細閱讀一下我所寫的（特別是「警訊」系列文章之開宗明義），您應該會發現我並不是只有在批評中國人。不過，可能我自己也犯了語言不精確的毛病，有時我說「中國人」並不是指國籍（不過有時候是）。沒辦法，牽扯到文化時這本來就是個模糊地帶。
文章中也提到國家生存的問題，「被侵略統一」其實好不好本來就很難說，「分裂」成數個小國家好不好也很難說。我個人的國家觀念算是很薄弱的， ……（繼續閱讀）
